Guitar tone is not as good, vocals are not as good, AND he messes up the lyrics. Try again, brah.

I think they did a pretty good job considering the song. Paranoid Android would be difficult for any band to cover well.

I think it comes down to whether you prefer Rivers Cuomo's vocal style over Thom York's.


Frankly, I'm a huge fan of Cuomo's voice and even prefer it to York's (though I love his, too).

Very high level of difficultly of a cover.

I didn't realize they got a new drummer. That's Josh Freese.

I like his voice and it's an honest attempt but I'm not sure if this cover produced anything remarkable. Fun though for all concerned.

Yeah, they don't do anything to really make the song their own, thus it's a copy more than a cover.
