Brad Pitt in Spike Jonze directed Japanese commercial
>> ^Yogi:
I'm straight and I want nothing more than to be fed by Brad Pitt, is that odd?
I suppose it depends on what you want him to feed you...

I thought Adaptation was overrated, but Malkovich is great.
Puppeteer? Check please!

I just added Being John Malkovich and Adaptation to my torrent list.
I'm really impressed that a guy from Jackass can do so well artistically.

I really hope they avoid all the trappings of CGI. Henson had it right all along, but people nowadays fail to understand we want the puppets -- at least I want the puppets. It worked in Labyrinth and The Never Ending Story and The Dark Crystal.
I've had this conversation with friends. I totally agree.

you're all fucking bonkers, this looks like a lot of fun.
coraline looked like a lot of fun. as much as i'd like to be optimistic about this one, it has a lot of room to be shit. lets just cross our fingers

So I've heard but I was 9 and 11 when they came out, respectively, so I'm a little slow on the uptake.

Mr. Jonze and the people he surrounds himself with are always amazing at making weird ideas a reality, so I'm super-excited
(... watched the HD version at apple.com/trailers/ about 8 times).

Hmm, maybe. But I'm afraid it will be another case of Hollywood taking something sweet and simple and blowing up into a 2 hour CGI Crapapalooza. Looking forward to the Happy Meal toys.

I will buy all the happy meal toys regardless. Decorating my desk at work is the priority.

Dude, are you serious? Did you see the Wild Things here? Or in this previously sifted vid? These are all live-action beasts. And Hollywood/Happy Meals? Check out Spkie Jonze's IMDB page and let me know if there's anything remotely "Hollywood" or Dirty Ron's-(McDonald's-) worthy. This project seems to be as off-kilter and ass-kicking as the book itself. This sifter is fucking stoked.
